EPOC 6011:972.945 - Note 19.

[Note 19.]

I have tried to crush one of the sides and drill through the other, but everything I did was of no avail. The material seems to be indestructible. And it is still unknown to me what kind of stuff I am dealing with. Could it be that someone carved the surface on purpose and these scratches actually mean something? But what kind of technology one would have to use for such a task? Wait. Is there a pyramid drawn? Nah, I am tired. Am I seeing things? It's just the light playing on the surface. But maybe not? What if there are some clues hidden in it? Or maybe there were none but the erosion responsible for these scratches and they actually mean nothing?

EPOC 6011:972.331 - Note 18.

[Note 18.]

I have analysed the radio waves coming out from the artifact I found on P0012_P1_0005. They oscillate around 5Hz and produce a series of clicks. They also switch phase regularly. Stardrifter's computer analysed them further and I was presented with the following numbers: -18,928; 29,680; -67,336. There is only one conclusion.
These are Balastrackonastreya's parsis coordinates!
Whoever had left this, wanted to point to our homesystem. But why? A message that the Felisians have been there? It makes sense. An explorers wanting others to know where they were from. Their origins. There are many scratches and cavities on the surface. What is hidden inside if anything? Dimensions are exactly 19 units. What is amazing is that despite the fact that the cube has surely seen its better days, the edges are so well preserved. Maybe they are not a part of the cube, but they are a part of some kind of a frame hidden underneath the material covering the sides? There must be something, right?

P0012_P1_0005 (2861861;4944696;-1946066) P06:

EPOC 6011:972.148 - Although the excavations have taken quite a long time to finish, they were definitely worth it. I have found a mysterious cube of unknown material. Maybe my ship's computer will shed some light on its structure. It is definitely of Felisian origin, because I can recognize a familiar writing system. After I have cleaned its surface a bit I could read the word EPOC and the number 113242 which I believe is an EPOC value written in Felisian thus its decimal value is 4197. A 4197! It's over 1800 EPOCS old! That is surely quite a discovery. I wonder what else may be engraved or encoded in it. I hope for some clues about pyramids or the missing Felisians' whereabouts.
If any of you, fellow explorers, are reading this and have found a similar objects, please let me know using the interface below this entry - any piece of information is valuable.
I like this quiet place here, but since I have done everything I had planned for this survey I shall be going now. I have to pack my things quickly, because sandstorm is coming and my camp won't hold it much longer under this planet's environmental conditions. There is a lot of radio interference coming out from that mysterious ancient Felisian cube artifact I found. When I get back on board my ship I will have to carry out a research using Stardrifter's very sophisticated radiowave transmission analysis devices.

P0012_P1_0005 (2861861;4944696;-1946066) P06:

EPOC 6011:962.716 - All but one of these readings were product of a scanner malfunction. The sand must have gotten into the device. Somehow. Harsh weather, water, high pressure (as well as vacuum), enormous gravity and whatnot protection... yeah, right. Nevermind.
What is important is that I have managed to fix it for now and after I have climbed up the nearby hill for a better range, I could isolate one strong signal from the background noise of the planet itself. I have made some calculations and additional readings and I got a quite precise location of its source. It should be somewhere around SRC 339.56:-10.-42. I'd better prepare some heavy equipment, because I have come to conclusion after having analyzed the equations that the source may be located somewhere underground.

While climbing up the hill,
I was getting stronger reading.

P0012_P1_0005_img9
After having measured the signal
from various locations,
I became pretty much sure
of its source location.

P0012_P1_0005_img10
Bang! The signal is coming
from the foot of this mountain.
