EPOC 6011:972.148 - P0012_P1_0005,5

EPOC 6011:972.148 - Although the excavations have taken quite a long time to finish, they were definitely worth it. I have found a mysterious cube of unknown material. Maybe my ship's computer will shed some light on its structure. It is definitely of Felisian origin, because I can recognize a familiar writing system. After I have cleaned its surface a bit I could read the word EPOC and the number 113242 which I believe is an EPOC value written in Felisian thus its decimal value is 4197. A 4197! It's over 1800 EPOCS old! That is surely quite a discovery. I wonder what else may be engraved or encoded in it. I hope for some clues about pyramids or the missing Felisians' whereabouts.
If any of you, fellow explorers, are reading this and have found a similar objects, please let me know using the interface below this entry - any piece of information is valuable.
I like this quiet place here, but since I have done everything I had planned for this survey I shall be going now. I have to pack my things quickly, because sandstorm is coming and my camp won't hold it much longer under this planet's environmental conditions. There is a lot of radio interference coming out from that mysterious ancient Felisian cube artifact I found. When I get back on board my ship I will have to carry out a research using Stardrifter's very sophisticated radiowave transmission analysis devices.

  1. I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject of holocr... Felisian data storage artifacts, but could you tell me about this planet's name? Could inspire me to compose and give title to my newest song.

    1. Are you implying that this might be a data storage device? But how to retrieve that data? Is it inside it? A disk? It may be. Right now I'm in a process of analysing that radio signal and I'm getting quite an interesting results. I will post a note about my research.
By saying 'holocr...' did you mean a holocron? I am aware of that name, but I've heard only rumours about it. Some very far away galaxy is said to have a sentient lifeforms using them for storing data, memories and various other things.
This planet's name is d̶u̶d̶u̶d̶u̶... erm, I mean it is P0012_P1_0005 which by my naming convention means that this is 12th star I have encountered and catalogued during my journey ('P' stands for 'Przem' there), P1 means that this is a first planet ('P' stands for 'Planet' there) discovered and catalogued by me in this system (P0012) and the last section of this name - 0005 means that this was the 5th planet named by me in total. Should you need any additional description, I've explained everything there: http://przem-log.blogspot.com/p/info.html
